The primary goal of IDEA is to foster the social inclusion of adults with physical disabilities by providing educational opportunities that enhance creativity, digital skills, and entrepreneurial abilities. The project takes an innovative approach to adult education by using FabLabs—digital fabrication spaces—to inspire creativity, improve employability, and promote social integration. By fostering collaboration between FabLabs and organizations specializing in adult education, IDEA aims to equip people with disabilities with essential digital and soft skills, empowering them to pursue job opportunities and integrate more easily into society. Tested across multiple EU countries, this model aspires to become a replicable reference for advancing inclusive education and strengthening the social integration of people with disabilities.
SO1: To enhance the skills and knowledge of adult educators in supporting people with disabilities through creative, digitally-driven learning pathways.
SO2: To foster the development of creative, digital, design, and entrepreneurial skills in people with disabilities, enhancing their personal and professional capabilities while promoting greater social inclusion.
SO3: To create a replicable European model based on the definition of a competence framework necessary for people with disabilities in order to act as digital makers.
