OBJECTIVES
The Covid-19 pandemic has amplified barriers and inequalities for people with disabilities (PWD), who have suffered from isolation due to social distancing rules, while the limited accessibility of ICT tools, distance learning and access to information related to COVID-19 have led to a deterioration in their quality of life.
The general objective of ADILE project is to promote empowerment and social inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities (PWD), promoting the accessibility of ICT tools for distance learning.
ADILE also wants to contribute to the removal of social barriers and obstacles, through learning activities aimed at promoting civic education in a logic of inclusion for PWDs.
● R1: The main ADILE Toolkit: ADILE will develop an online training course dedicated to PWDs with the aim of improving their understanding of the world around them and increase their autonomy.
● R2: ADILE educational platform: The platform constitutes the central node of the project, through which the accessible distance model of education proposed by ADILE will be experimented.
● R3: ADILE guidelines for the establishment of a European model for e accessible distance learning for people with intellectual disabilities.
